Gold prices declined slightly in local markets during today’s trading, due to the decline in the ounce of gold price in the global stock exchange, and the rise of dollar price.
Eid Youssef, head of the Gold Division at the Chamber of Commerce in Menoufia, said that gold prices dropped by about 2 pounds in the local market, 21-carat recorded EGP 762, while the gold ounce price increased in the global stock exchange to record 1747 dollars.
He added that 24-carat recorded EGP 871, and 18 –carat is at EGP 653, while the gold pound recorded EGP 6096.
