Gold prices decline, 21-carat at EGP 756

Gold prices declined slightly in local markets during today’s trading, due to the decline in the ounce of gold price in the global stock exchange, and the rise of dollar price.

Osama El-Gala, Secretary of the Gold Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, said that gold prices dropped by about 2 pounds in the local market, 21-carat recorded EGP 756, while the gold ounce price increased in the global stock exchange to record 1723 dollars.

He added that 24-carat recorded EGP 864, and 18 –carat is at EGP 648, while the gold pound recorded EGP 6048.
