Gold prices increased in the local markets during trading today, Tuesday, amid a slight rise in the price of an ounce of gold in global markets.
Eid Youssef, head of the Gold Division at Monufia Chamber of Commerce, said that gold prices witnessed an increase by EGP 10 in the local markets during today’s trading, as a gram of 21 karat gold recorded EGP 2340, while an ounce rose to $1946.
He added that a gram of 24 karat gold recorded EGP 2674, a gram of 18 karat gold recorded about EGP 2006, and a pound of gold recorded about EGP 18720.
