Superbon was satisfied with claiming ONE Championship gold, but he had to take out one of the world’s best kickboxers in spectacular fashion.

Superbon became ONE’s inaugural 145-pound kickboxing championship, nailing a sniper head kick on Petrosyan in the second round for a clean knockout victory.
The two opponents were both riding lengthy unbeaten streaks heading into Friday’s contest, with Petrosyan unbeaten in nine straight bouts and Superbon having defeated his past six opponents.
Faced with ONE’s No. 1-ranked fighter, Superbon claimed Petrosyan’s spot and declared himself as the man to beat in the 155-pound pision by flattening Petrosyan with a perfectly timed strike.
Meanwhile, Superbon is one of two fighters to have finished Petrosyan via strikes, the other being Andy Ristie at a GLORY event in New York back in November 2013.
