Egyptian actress Ghada Adel was hospitalized Sunday in the UK after suffering from a sudden health scare.
In a phone-in with "MBC Masr", she shared an update on her current health.
Adel disclosed that she had suffered from urinary obstruction, kidney infection, and blood poisoning.
"Exertion led the infection to move to the kidneys and then the blood,” she added.
Adel reassured that she was currently in good health.
She was discharged Monday afternoon to continue the treatment at home and is set to undergo blood tests in the coming hours.

Adel will be seen next in the comedy TV series “Ahlam Saeeda” (Happy Dreams).
It also stars Yousra, Mai Kassab, Nour Mahmoud, Nabil Nour El Deen, Tamer Hagras, and others.
The series is penned by Hala Khalil, helmed by Amr Arafa, and produced by the El Adl Group.
“Ahlam Saeeda” marks the second collaboration between the actresses after the 2014 TV series “Saraya Abdeen”, which was also directed by Arafa.
The series is centered around an aristocratic woman who suffers from nightmares that make her suspicious of everyone around her.
“Ahlam Saeeda” is set to premiere in Ramadan 2022 drama marathon.
