Currently, there are still 54 countries on the UK's red list – including Tunisia and South Africa, despite many improvements in the medical sectors of these countries.
Frequently, the long list is updated every three weeks, and a refresh is expected towards the end of the week beginning October 4.
It’s worth mentioning that Egypt had been placed on the UK’s red list since 8 June, which had deterred UK travelers from visiting Egypt due to the inconvenience and cost of a mandatory 10-day quarantine when reentering the UK.
Indeed, the red list is long and perse, but Covid 19 seems to be omnipresent.
