President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will pay tomorrow a 2-day historic visit to Germany to attend the “ Petersburg Climate Dialogue” in Bonn, which discusses climate changes that affect the whole world, amid a serious atmosphere and the repercussions of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The president will travel to participant in one of the important climate conferences.
I express my appreciation to President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, the patriot leader who is keen on the issues of his country and region, in addition to his honorable position and his decisive speech at the summit held in Saudi Arabia along with US President Biden and a number of regional leaders. …He continues his shuttle tours by traveling to Germany. He will meet with German President Steinmeier, Chancellor Olaf Schulz, and a number of members of the German government. He will participate in the “Petersburg Climate Dialogue”, organized by Germany since 2009..This year, Germany was keen on the participation of Egypt as the pivotal country that is preparing to host the global climate summit next November. The world is waiting for the recommendations and decisions of this summit, to stop this deadly depletion of the environment and find the easiest ways to protect the climate, which has become a common priority for the two countries. , as climate changes and thermal and gaseous emissions have affected and still affect all the countries of the world, and the developing countries pay a heavy price for industrial progress in the first world.
Amid Egypt’s preparations for the upcoming summit in Sharm El Sheikh, I think that people still need to know more about climate risks, the responsibility of each institution, and the effort and behavior required of the simple citizen in preserving the environment. We need programs to expand participation and deepen awareness of this summit, which is one of the most important summits hosted by Egypt.
President Sisi has always raised Egypt’s name high in international forums, and his presence in every country emphasizes Egypt’s status ,his strong positions, foresight and wisdom in dealing with issues, brought Egypt back to its prominent global and regional position.
