French Amb. in Cairo lauds Egypt's Organisation of Handball Championship

French Ambassador to Egypt Stephane Romatet on Saturday lauded Egypt's great organisation of 2021 World Men's Handball Championship.

In statements, Romatet expressed his admiration with the Sports Hall in 6th of October city. saying; " It is a wonderful place, expressing his hope of fans attendance to this great showpiece.'

"This tremendous organisation came after a great effort, exerted by the youth and sports minister Dr Ahsraf Sobhi, the Egyptian and International Handball Federation," he added.

Romatet also said that the French team is so happy of the tournament. "Today, we have only one word, we will qualify for the final," he concluded.

About Egypt 2021

The 27th edition of the IHF Men’s World Championship – the first IHF World Championship to be played with 32 teams – will take place in Egypt from 13 to 31 January 2021 at four venues: Cairo Stadium Sports Hall, New Capital Sports Hall, Dr Hassan Moustafa Sports Hall (formerly 6th of October) and Borg Al Arab Sports Hall.

The IHF men’s flagship event will feature 108 games, with the final weekend taking place in Cairo.
