Clumsy, uncoordinated are two words that can be used to describe the French national team's opening game against underdogs Australia. With a lineup full of potential, the World's leading candidate to win the Mondial didn't quite live up to the hype as Australia played an almost even game against the Frenchmen.

Antoine Griezman scored the opening goal of the match with a well place penalty in the 55th minute, Jadinak would then even the score with an another penalty in the 62nd minute. From that moment forward Australia kept pushing through France's defense and even seemed they were going to upset the Frenchmen, until Paul Pogba placed a shoot which struck the upper part of the crossbar, and crossed the inner line of the goal giving France the win.

If French were to live up to the hype surrounding them, then they should focus more a well coordinated strategy next game.
