Four Players have officially left Zamalek after claiming the Egypt Cup title following their 2-1 win over their arch rivals Al Ahly.

Zamalek left-winger Ashraf Bencharki, right winger Ounajem, midfielder Tarek Hamed, and goalkeeper Mohamed Abou Gabel have officially left the team.

It is worth mentioning that, Zamalek managed to claim their Egypt Cup title after beating arch rivals Ahly 2-1 on Thursday at Cairo stadium.

The Whites saw them go 2-0 up with goals from Ahmed “Zizo” El Sayed and Emam Ashour on the 6th and 30th minutes.

Ahly regained their composure in the second half and Hossam Hassan pulled one back in the 55th minute but that was no more than a consolation goal.

The Whites won their 28th title and completed their fourth domestic double after 1959/60, 1987/88 and 2014/15.

A special milestone for Portuguese coach Jesualdo Ferreira who masterminded their previous achievement in 2015.
