First Lady Entissar El Sisi expressed her joy at the Launch of the “Noura” and “Dawa” Initiatives which prioritize maintaining girls’ health and social assets as well as their educational skills.

"I would like to express my joy with the launch of the “Dawa” and “Noura” initiatives, to empower Egyptian girls, within the framework of our national project for the development of the Egyptian family, especially in the villages of the “Decent Life” presidential initiative," the First Lady said.

She added: "The girls of Egypt are the pioneers of the future and the makers of leaders, therefore investing in them is an investment in building the future. They have always proven that they are up to the challenge and the responsibility.

"I express my perpetual support for all the girls of Egypt; in obtaining all their rights and developing their skills, as an essential step in achieving the sought-after renaissance," she noted.

It's noteworthy that the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) thanked the Egyptian First Lady for sponsoring the ‘Noura’ program.

UNFPA stressed that the First Lady’s patronage is an “affirmation of the national commitment to invest in adolescent girls and ultimately achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.”

Moreover, the fund emphasized that it is proud of her Excellency’s endorsement of the ‘Noura’ program, which prioritizes building girls’ health and social assets as well as their educational skills.

Supported by UNFPA, the program aims at reaching every girl in Egypt to empower them economically to achieve a better future for themselves and for Egypt.

The First Lady also expressed her pleasure at attending the celebration of “The Iconic Egyptian Woman," on Tuesday, saying "I was pleased today to attend the celebration “The Iconic Egyptian Woman”, marking the International Women’s Day, amid an outstanding elite of the honorable and inspiring great women of Egypt."

“The celebration confirms that the woman is the cornerstone of our nation and that the progress and promotion of any society is closely connected to the level of its women’s awareness and culture,’ she stressed.
