Fire Contained at Marmina Church in Omraneya

The Bishopric of Giza announced containing of a fire that broke out in the Church of the Archangel Suriel and the Marmina in El-Omraneya, Giza Governorate, after the completion of the Coptic Pascha prayers.

There were no injuries as the fire occurred after the end of the prayers and the worshipers left, the bishopric confirmed.

A fire broke out this evening inside the Church, and fire fighters moved to the place to try to control the fire. The General Administration of Civil Protection in Giza had pushed 8 fire trucks to try to extinguish a fire inside a building and the Church of Marmina in El-Omraneya.
