The official trailer for Hend Sabry and Maged El Kedwany’s new film “Fadl we Neama” has been unveiled.
It also stars Bayoumi Fouad, Mahmoud Hafez, Yasmina El-Abd, and others.
The film features many guest appearances including Sherif El-Desouki and Mohamed Mamdouh.
It revolves around a married couple Fadl and Neama (Sabry and El Kedwany), restaurant owners of “Fadl we Neama” and parents of two children, whose lives are turned upside down after being recruited to become secret agents.
The film marks the second collaboration between Sabry and El-Abd after Netflix’s TV series “Finding Ola“.
It is written by Ayman Wattar, directed by Ramy Emam, and produced by Ahmed El-Ganayni.
“Fadl we Neama” hit the cinemas on October 5.
Sabry was last seen in the star-studded film “Kira & El Gin”.
The cast also includes Karim Abdel Aziz, Ahmed Ezz, Sayed Ragab, Asma Abul Yazeid, Ahmed Malek, Huda El Mufti, Aly Kassem, and others.
The film was written by Ahmed Mourad, directed by Marwan Hamed, and produced by the Synergy Production company.
It is based on 2014’s Egyptian historical fiction novel “1919” by Mourad.
The film is a thought-provoking, fast-paced, information-packed historical fiction set to the actual events of a significant era in Egypt’s history.
It recounts the life of Egyptians during the British occupation of Egypt from 1919 to 1924 and follows their resistance against the occupation.
The film also depicted the role of the Egyptian uprising through the lives of diverse characters that include famous and obscure historical figures as well as fictional characters.
