Al-Ahly Club received a copy of the regulations for the Club World Cup, which will be held in the USA next summer. FIFA officials notified Al-Ahly's management of the regulations for the tournament, which will be held for the first time with the participation of 32 clubs.
Al-Ahly also received the list of financial rewards for the tournament and the Red Devils' share of participation in this global event. This came after Al-Ahly officials inquired with FIFA about the truth of recent reports that the club had received $2 million from FIFA, citing popularity and support, prior to participating in the Club World Cup. FIFA officials denied these reports to Al-Ahly, confirming their complete inaccuracy.
Meanwhile, Al-Ahly received an official letter from FIFA stating that the club's participation bonus in the Club World Cup, scheduled to be held next summer in the United States, amounts to $9 million and 550 thousand dollars, with the bonus for winning any match in the group stage being $2 million, while the bonus for a draw will be $1 million. This comes after FIFA recently announced that it will achieve profits of $2 billion from the 2025 Club World Cup, half of which, $1 billion, will be distributed among all participating clubs.
