FedEx has suspended all services in Russia and Belarus as fighting intensified following the invasion of Ukraine.

The company had previously suspended incoming service to Russia, but has now halted all parcel movements including domestic deliveries in both Russia and Belarus.

The company also suspended its services to Ukraine. "We are deeply disturbed by what is happening, and our thoughts and solidarity with the people affected by this ongoing violence," FedEx said in the letter, signed by CEO Fred Smith.

FedEx ranks second on the Transportation Topics list of the Top 100 North American charter carriers.

The company's decision to stop its services in Russia came after similar decisions by several international companies in various fields, including Apple, General Motors, Nike and H&M, as well as many energy companies that decided to exit their assets in Russia.
