On Saturday, the jury of Farouk Hosny Prize for Arts Criticism held a voting session to choose Semi-final contests qualified projects.
The jury followed a strict criteria for evaluating the 23 submitted studies based on scientific approach, language, citation, and the research topic.
It is worthy to mention that the jury consists of a number of iconic artists and critics such as Dr . Shaker Abdel Hamid, former Minister of Culture, Dr. Amal Nasr, the head of Department of Photography of Faculty Of Fine Arts at Alexandria University and Critic and Author Fatma Ali.
The total of the prizes amount is 60.000 LE: 30.000 for the first place, 20.000 LE for the second one, and 10.000 for the third.
The final round of the competition will be organized at Al Gazira Museum on 5 January 2021.
