Farouk Hosny, the Founder of Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts, the former Minister of Culture, and the iconic artist, inspected, Wednesday, the “Egyptian Art in the Twenties of the Last Century” exhibition at the Center of Arts, Aisha Fahmy Palace.
The renowned artist said on his visit: “I was very pleased to visit “The Egyptian Art Exhibition in the Twenties of the Last Century”, located at the Complex of Arts, Aisha Fahmy Palace.”
He added: “This is a distinguished exhibition for the Egyptian pioneers of Modern Art during that era. The show includes a unique, state-of-the-art display of the masterpieces at the halls of the Complex of Arts. Indeed, Egypt posseses invaluable assets in the field of fine arts, who kept pace with the momentum taking place in Europe.”
“The Egyptian Art in the Twenties of the Last Century” exhibition, held between 1 June to 1 August, displayed a collection of masterpieces by some of the finest and most iconic Egyptian artists.
The event exhibited a collection of the top recognized artworks nearly which impacted the stream of arts in Egypt during the twenties of the last century.
