FAO, UN Honor SEE Journalist Ahmed Emam

Journalist and News editor of Sada Elbald English (SEE) Ahmed Emam has been honored with the FAO and the United Nations Information Center Media Award-2021.

The award is for recognizing excellence in journalism promoting the sustainable development of Egypt’s agriculture as well as engaging the public in the implementation of the SDGs.

Emam has been recognized and honored for his important work on the issues of "Food Safety in Egypt" and for his role in enhancing the awareness of the role of the United Nation’s institutions among the Egyptians. ​

The event also celebrated the International Year of Fruits and Vegetables and the progress achieved for Food Safety in Egypt, while highlighting the work that remains to be done.

It’s worth noting that the massive event was attended by a number of high-ranking figures in society, amongst renowned Egypt’s TV anchor Nashat Eldihy, Assistant Director-General, Regional Representative for Near East and North Africa AbdulHakim Elwaer, Naser Eldin Alamin FAO representative in Egypt, the communication expert at FAO Egypt Rawya Dabi, FAO Communications Consultant Mohamed Mousa, the UN media center representative Neihal Elkadi.
