Former Ahly player and current Egyptian Football Association Mohamed Fadl revealed the reasons why the Egyptian Super Cup will be held in The United Arab Emirates. The former Egyptian international also revealed the reason the chosen date was assigned for the upcoming super clash.
Fadl stated during the press conference that followed the contract signing that decreed the Super Cup will be held in the UAE; the venue was was chosen due to its beautiful stadium that will host the match.
Hosting the match in the UAE reflects the firm relationship of brotherhood between Egypt and the UAE.
The Ahly striker also revealed that the date February the 20th was chosen due to it's unique numbers implying to 20/20/2020.
Fadl also thanked public relations and organizing company- Presentation Sport- for their great organization and as well as the current Egyptian Football director of competitions Hossam El-Zanaty for putting this event all together.
