Extremely Hot Weather Prevails Egypt on Sunday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the country will witness a remarkable rise in the temperature and extremely hot weather, during daylight hours on Sunday.

Furthermore, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at EMA, predicted that the country will witness active winds stirring sand and dust in the west of the country and south of Upper Egypt.

Atmospheric dust is also foreseen to prevail from the north of the country to northern Upper Egypt and South Sinai.

There will be chances of light rain, sometimes thunderstorms, hitting intermittently the far south of Upper Egypt.

Moderate weather is predicted to prevail in the country, at night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 39C in Cairo, 37C in Alexandria, 35C in Marsa Matruh, 41C in Sohag, 41C in Qena, and 42C in Aswan.
