Experts of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) forecast temperature degrees to rise slightly on Saturday.

It would be nice weather in the northern parts of the country up to the Egypt.

It would be hot in Upper Egypt.

However, the weather would be cold at night across the various provinces.

Heavy mist would shorten range of visibility in the early morning in the northern parts of the country.

Lower and medium-dragged clouds would hang over the northern coasts next the Mediterranean Sea and the other water bodies connected to it.

Doses of light rain are expected to fall in the western areas.

Moderate southeasterly winds would get more fresher in the south tip of Sinai Peninsula and regions in vicinity of the Red Sea.

Strong winds would disturb navigation in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez.

The Mediterranean Sea is expected to expose to light to moderate conditions.

Waves swell to 1-1.5 meters.

But the Red Sea would witness moderate to rough conditions and waves are expected to swell to 2-2.5 meters.

Surface northwesterly winds would blow through areas next that sea.

Egypt is four times the size of the United Kingdom.

Because its boundaries extend from the Mediterranean Sea in the north to the Sudan in the south, its climate varies greatly. Although some tourists venture into the searing heat of the Sahara desert, most confine their travels to the Red Sea coast and the Valley of the Nile.

Around Alexandria and the resorts that fringe the Mediterranean, summertime temperatures usually peak at around 31 Celsius (87F) but further south, in Aswan, temperatures average 41 Celsius (106F).

Although there can be a few wet days each month along the Mediterranean coast, much of Egypt experiences little or no rainfall.

So with sunshine averaging eight to 10 hours each day in the winter and as much as 12 hours in the summer,  tourists can base their choice of time to visit solely on the likely temperatures.

With summer temperatures exceeding 35 Celsius (95F), touring the sites around Cairo can be very uncomfortable.

But it should also be pointed out that January and February can be quite chilly months in Cairo and along the northern half of Egypt’s Red Sea coast.

Dust-laden winds may affect almost any part of the country between late March and June. These can give some very unpleasant conditions at times.
