Salah Salam, editor-in-chief of Al-Lewa newspaper, and an expert in Lebanese affairs said on Friday that the main node in the file of forming the Lebanese government is outside the Lebanese borders.

"Talking about forming the government and a disagreement between the presidency of the republic and the designated president and the accusations arising and obstruction is a kind of playing with wasted time," Salam said.

He added, "I think that the main node is outside Lebanon, and it mainly relates to the file of negotiations for the nuclear agreement between Tehran and Washington.

He added that Lebanon experienced such a previous stage, but conditions were better than they are today.

When President Tammam Salam was appointed at the end of President Michel's term, Suleiman formed the government and waited 11 months and two weeks.

And was only able to form it after the signing of the nuclear agreement between Iran, America, and the Group of Five, and before the ink was dry, the Lebanese government was born at dawn that day, this means that all that we see now on the domestic stage is only for political disagreement.

He considered that "the popular movement indicates the extent of anger and discontent with the Lebanese people after the deterioration of the living situation, the slippage in prices and the exchange rate of the dollar exceeding 10 thousand Lebanese pounds, and the issue of the dollar may be the straw that broke the back due to the spread of unemployment and the state in a prolonged coma, and deposits in fate are unknown in the banks.

Regarding the news published by "Bloomberg" about the possibility of the United States of America imposing sanctions on the governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Riad Salameh, Salam said: "We have not seen the details of imposing sanctions on Governor Riad Salameh, and this is a topic of the utmost importance and accuracy and we must follow it in all its details so that we can form an idea.
