Exclusive: "Limbo" Wins CIFF Best Artistic Contribution Award

The British film "Limbo" starring the Egyptian actress Amir El Masry won the Fabrici award at the Cairo Internation Film Festival.

The film discusses the issues of immigration and isolation. It also observes the hard psychological conditions the immigrants live in their new societies.

Cairo International Film Festival took place between 2 and 10 December. The festival witnessed the presence of more than 80 films.

10 Egyptian films participated at different CIFF competitions such as “Lift Like a Girl,” “Curfew” and “On the Fence.”

More than 30.000 tickets were sold during the festival.
