Emil Forsberg net as Sweden snatched a 1-0 hard-fought victory over Slovakia in the matchday 2 of Group E, as this win make Sweden jump to the top of the group with four points taking them to the brink of the last 16.

It was so long in the match until the silence was broken by Forsberg in the 77th mminute, when he converted from a penalty spot as  Martin Dubravka went the right way, but Forsberg's spot-kick nestles in the side of the net.

The spot-kick ended a run of 365 minutes without a goal for Sweden at the European Championship, since their opening group game at Euro 2016.

While Slovakia could have secured their progress to the knockout stages with a win, Sweden now lead Group E with four points - one more than Slovakia who face Spain in their final match.
