EU Spokesperson Luis Miguel Bueno said that more than 4.6 million refugees from Ukraine have crossed into the neighboring countries.
Beuno told “Sky News Arabia” in a statement that since the beginning of the Russian invasion in Ukraine, the EU has mobilized enormous resources to help those fleeing the war, and more than 20 billion euros have been allocated to help these refugees obtain aid, shelter, and food.
He added that before the invasion, the Ukrainians benefited from the exemption from the visa to enter the European Union, they can also move freely within its borders.
International Organization for Migration has estimated that more than 5.6 million Ukrainians have fled the country since the Russian military operation last February.
