Alexandria's Ettihad have completed the signing of Jamaican striker Romario Williams on a two-year deal. The International becomes the second Jamaican to join the Alexandrian giants in just one week after defender Damion Lowe, who arrived from Phoenix Rising FC.
Who is Ettihad's Romario Williams
Named after the legendary Brazilian footballer Romário, the Jamaican forward spent the whole of his career in USA, playing college football at the University of Central Florida, where he was named the 2013 American Athletic Conference Player of the Year.
In January 2015, Williams was selected by Montreal Impact third overall in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft and was sent out to Charleston Battery on loan.
He also had stints at Atlanta United FC, where he won both the MLS Cup and the US Open Cup, and Columbus Crew SC, before joining Miami FC last January.
