The Ethiopian government denied, on Monday, media reports on negotiations in Uganda with Tigray People's Liberation Front, according to "Sky News Arabia".

Earlier, Debretsion Gebremichael, chairman of the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) and the deputy and acting President of Tigray Region, stressed on continuing fighting, confronting the aggression, and waging the war until the end, pointing out that things have turned into a civil war in Ethiopia.

On Sunday, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed said, in a statement that his country is able to achieve the objectives of its military operation in the northern Tigray region “by itself”.

Abiy Ahmed issued the statement on Twitter hours after the commander of Tigray’s forces, Debretsion Gebremichael, announced that his forces were fighting forces from neighboring Eritrea in addition to the Ethiopian federal forces.
