Essam El Hadary's Gloves Decorate Fifa Museum

Gloves of the Egyptian former goalkeeper Essam El Hadary decorated Fifa World Football Museum.

El Hadary became the oldest player to take part in Fifa World Cup in Russia when he participated in Egypt's clash against Saudi Arabia as he managed to smash the record set by the former Colombian player Faryd Mondragón.

Fifa Museum posted a photo of the 46-year -old goalkeeper's gloves on its official Twitter page.

"At the 2018 FIFAWorldCup ElHadary didn't just become the tournament's oldest player, but also the first African in #WorldCup history to save a penalty," Fifa Museum tweeted.

"His gloves from this game, the last of his international career, are part of our 'Foot Et Monde Arabe' exhibition," it added.

On his part, the 48-year-old goalkeeper expressed his appreciation for fifa via his official Twitter page. "Thank you for your interest," the former goalkeeper said.
