English Newspapers Describes Salah's Injury as 'Blow' for Liverpool

All English newspapers shed the light on Salah's coronavirus infection, as they described it as a blow for Liverpool.

Salah's infection is another setback for Jürgen Klopp, who already this season has lost Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez due to serious knee injuries.

Daily Mall:

Daily Mail, the prominent and old newspaper in England, described it as a crisis for Reds.

"Leaving Klopp's injury-hit Reds without another key player," the English newspaper said.

"Liverpool's star forward Mohamed Salah has contracted coronavirus just days after he attended the packed wedding of his brother Nasr held in Cairo," it added.

Guardian:

Also, Guardian commented on this bad news as it described it as "another setback for Jürgen Klopp."

"The news is yet another setback for Jürgen Klopp who already this season has lost Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez to serious knee injuries and had to cope with Alisson, Joël Matip, Fabinho, Thiago Alcântara and Trent Alexander-Arnold also being sidelined with knocks. Thiago and Sadio Mané have also had to self-isolate during the campaign having themselves contracted Covid-19," Guardian said.

"Footage of Mohamed Salah dancing at a wedding has emerged with the Liverpool star having tested positive for Covid-19," Daily Star said. 

"The Egyptian FA confirmed the forward returned a positive test while away on international duty, though Salah is without symptoms," it added.

Another crisis break out for Jurgen Klopp after the EFA announced the Salah tested positive for Coronavirus, this how Mirror commented on Mo's injury.

"Liverpool are sweating on a coronavirus retest, that will determine if star striker Mo Salah must quarantine for 10 days," Mirror said.
