On Monday, Mahmoud Shaheen, Director of the Weather Forecast Department at the General Authority of Meteorology, revealed that the cold weather continues throughout the day, specifically in the late hours of the night, along with the wind activity.
In a phone-in with "Sada El Balad", the director predicted that the rain would fall in the coming days, while the chances of a mist will be difficult amidst the winds and the unstable weather conditions.
He indicated that the rainfall and wind activity will end next Wednesday and that the mist will return starting Thursday morning.
Shaheen pointed out that there are chances of light rain on Tuesday or Wednesday evening.
The temperatures expected to prevail in the country until Thursday will range between 17 and 18 degrees in Cairo and Lower Egypt,18 to 17 degrees in the Northern Coasts, 19 and 20 degrees in North Upper Egypt, 22 and 23 degrees Celsius in South Upper Egypt and South Sinai.
