EMA: Heavy Rains Expected in Egypt on Wednesday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that the country will see a rain activity on Wednesday, adding that the strength of rain showers will vary between drizzle, and heavy thunderstorms.

The rain maps indicated that heavy showers accompanied by thunder storms will fall on north coast, and several regions of the north of Delta, alongside sea-sided cities such as Alexandria, Damietta, Port Said, Buhair, and Kafr El Sheikh.

On the other hand, drizzles are expected to fall on several parts from the south parts of Delta, and great Cairo.

In addition, moderate weather will prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt, north coasts, and North Upper Egypt.

On the other hand, South Sinai will see a moderately hot atmosphere, and hot in the southern parts of upper Egypt.

Regarding night hours, moderate and nice weather is predicted to prevail at the earliest hours in most parts of the country; it would be cooler in late nighttime hours.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 25°C in Cairo, 26°C in Alexandria, 24°C in Marsa Matruh, 30°C in Sohag, 32°C in Qena, and 32°C in Aswan.
