Elon Musk's company "SpaceX" was at risk of bankruptcy according to a leaked email from Musk to his employees.

On Tuesday, the businessman responded from his personal Twitter account that although the probability of his bankruptcy is very slim, it is still possible.

“We are in real danger of bankruptcy if next year we are not able to achieve a Starship rate of at least one every two weeks,” Musk wrote in the leaked email.

The statement states that the main cause of the problem is the lack of production of the Raptor engines, which are used in the Starship spacecraft to send missions to the Moon and Mars. SpaceX needs at least 39 of these engines for orbital launch.

“If a severe global recession depletes the availability of capital or liquidity while SpaceX is losing billions in Starlink and Starship, bankruptcy, while still unlikely, would not be impossible,” reads the tweet to which Musk replied.
