Space X and Tesla CEO Elon Musk's net worth has increased once again in 2020, driving him to be closer to Facebook's CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

The reason for the increase is due to rise of the electric-car company's stock 500 points upward and from 15 billion dollars to 117 billion dollars, according to Sky News Arabia after the company has been added to "S&B 500."

This year witnessed an astronomical rise of Musk's net worth as he one of the few whose net worths have been tripled amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

"Musk is one of just five in the world. With the astronomical rise in Tesla's stock price, Musk is now worth more than Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg—who sits at a comfortable $111 billion—and is the third-richest person in the world. Year to date, Musk’s net worth has increased by $87.8 billion," according to The Wall Street Journal.

Moreover, his Space X is gaining more international recognition especially after launching the first full-crewed mission to orbit the Earth to become the first private space company to launch space flights.  In addition, Space X news went viral after its iconic launch of the Starlink satellite-train that was seen from Earth.
