CAIRO – SEP 24 (SEE): President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi is expected to meet his counterpart Donald Trump today in New York on the sidelines of the 73rd session of the United Nations Assembly.
The two presidents are predicted to discuss means of enhancing strategic relations between the two countries in various fields.
Trump and El-Sisi are also anticipated to discuss the security related issues in the Middle East as well as the latest developments in a number of regional issues such as Syria, Yemen and Libya.
It is expected that the two leaders discuss and exchange views on regional and international issues of common concern especially on the Palestinian cause.
The last meeting between El- Sisi and Trump took place in September 2017, when the Egyptian President was attending the 72nd session of the UNGA.
