Wael El Fishney Concludes Road of Sphinxes Int'l Ceremony with "Luxor Baladna"

Trending folk singer Wael El Fishny concluded the events of the international opening ceremony of the Road of Sphinxes by covering "Luxor Baladna."

El Feshny, who is known for his traditional style in performance, and vocals, beautifully covered the famous song that was debuted in 1967 in the unforgettable "Gharam Fi El Karnak" film by Mohamed El Ezaby, and the dances were performed by the iconic Reda Ensemble for Folk Arts.

The song originally was composed by legendary composer Ali Ismail, and the lyrics were written by Fathy Qoura, and it was inspired by the heritage and the history of the Luxor.

"Luxor Baladna" turned from a song featured in the film to a representation of the city's identity, in addition, it became part of the city's pop culture.

Therefore, blending the riffs of the song to the employed symphonies and soundtracks of the ceremony.
