Director of Bibliotheca Alexandrina Mustafa El-Feky expressed his pride in the national unity that Egypt is experiencing, stressing the depth of relations among citizens.

"Egypt does not differentiate between citizens of different backgrounds and religions, whether they are Muslim, Christian or Jewish," El-Feky said.

The director pointed out that the inauguration of the "Eliyahu Hanavi" Synagogue in Alexandria, which the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities has restored, is new evidence that Egypt is a country of civilization, culture, and perse religions.

He pointing out that Egypt began to restore many temples years ago and today the state confirms its interest in the ancient heritage by opening the Jewish temple.

El-Feky emphasized that Egypt has never known intolerance and militancy throughout the ages, stressing that national unity is now living in its best days under the leadership of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi.

"We send a message to the whole world that Egypt "the cradle of civilizations", is a great example of tolerance and acceptance of the other," he concluded.
