Yehia El-Fakharany celebrates his 76th birthday

Egypt's Veteran actor Yehia El-Fakharany is celebrating his 76th birthday today. To wish him on his special day, his Fans and actors took to social media platforms and shared many photos of “Hamda Ezo” with his family and friends.

In the same context, Ahmed Karara took to Instagram to wish Fakharany on his birthday. The young talented actor wrote a heartfelt message on his official Instagram page, “Happy Birthday Doctor Fakharany!!! May you have many millions of years of happiness and success ahead!”

Fakharany, who is well-known for his famous series "My Dear Children, Thank You" (Abnai'y L-Aʿza', shukran), turned 76 today.

Fakharany is also well-known for some of his seminal works, such as “Al-Zol” (Humiliation), “Ard el-Ahlam” (Land of dreams), and “Mabrouk we Bolbol” (Mabrouk and Bolbol)“Abna'y Al-A'ezaa'..Shokran” (My dear children, thank you), “Seyam Seyam” (Fasting of Seyam)”, “Al-Haya Mara Aokhra,” (Life again), “A'ber Sabeel” (Passerby), “Layaly El-Helmeya” (El-Helmeya Nights), “La” (No), “Alf Leila wa Leila” (One thousand nights), “Al-Khoroj men Al-Ma'zaiq” (Out of the impasse), “Nesf Rabie' Al-Akhar” (The other half of Rabie), and “Zezenya”.

Furthermore, Yehia El-Fakharany is married to renowned novel writer and physician Lamis Gaber, who is well-known as the author of the screenplay of the "King Farouq" series (2007). They have two children: Shadi and Tariq.

In 1983, El-Fakharany's younger son Tariq worked in business management, and he previously acted alongside his father in the movie "Ali Baba's Trial" (Muhakamat Ali Baba).

On the other hand, Shadi, the elder son of the Egyptian artist, graduated from the Film Institute in the late nineties and worked as an assistant director in some cinematic productions, and he is now in film directing

The renowned actor also won many domestic and international awards, including the Carthage Film Festival Award for the film "He went out and never came back" (Kharag wa lam yaʿud), the distinction of Doctor Honoris Causa twice, Faten Hamama Appreciation Award at the closing ceremony of the 38th Cairo International Film Festival in 2016,  the Cairo Arab Media Festival Award, the Award for Excellence in Acting from the 4th National Fiction Film Festival for "The Land of Dreams" (Ard el-Ahlamm).
