President Abdel Fattah El Sisi sent a cable of congratulations to President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, on the occasion of the Prophet Mohammed's Birthday.
"We pray to God Almighty to keep our Arab and Islamic nations safe and enjoy goodness and blessings," President Sisi said in his telegram.
He added that the birth of our Noble Messenger, "may God's prayers and peace be upon him," is a renewed beacon that guides us to imitate his fragrant life and adhere to the principles of his lofty message, in order to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and cooperation among the peoples of the nation.
The Egyptian President wished to "confront the challenges that our world is witnessing today, and to achieve what we aspire to for our nation in terms of progress and prosperity."
President Sisi wished Abbas good health, happiness and continued success, and for our two brotherly peoples and for all Arab and Islamic peoples further stability, development and prosperity.
