Egypt’s Olympic team new manager Rogério Micale will receive a monthly salary valued at $ 70,000.
The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) had announced on Sunday the appointment of the Brazilian coach as new manager for the Olympic team to succeed Shawky Gharib.
He signed a two-year deal with the EFA to lead the Pharaohs’ Olympic team till 2024.
Egyptian prominent TV sports anchor Ahmed Shobir said that duo Wael Riad and Essam El Hadry will join him in the technical staff.
Micale has a prominent career with the youth and Olympic national team worldwide as he guided the Brazilian Olympic team to clinch the gold medal for the first time in their history in 2016 Olympic Games, held in Rio de Janeiro.
He also led the Brazilian youth team to claim the silver medal in the 2015 Youth World Cup.
