On Thursday, the third edition of the Egypt’s Jewellers Conference will kick off, under the theme of “Financial inclusion and the Role of Digital Transformation in Improving the Gold Sector in New Republic.”

Several senior officials and celebrated gold and jewellery traders in Egypt and the Middle East will attend the conference, alongside leading figures in the banks and economy sectors.

Saied Embabi, the CEO of Isagha Platform and the member of Cairo Chamber of Commerce’s Gold Division, said that the conference will discuss the activation of the digital transformation in developing the sector, and setting more effective solutions for gold sector’s problems.

It also targets enhancing the role of the sector in contributing to the establishment of the new republic by the foundation of the gold city, and turning Egypt to be a regional hub for gold industry and trade.

Embabi added that the role of woman in gold and jewellery industry will be also examined and her representation in the field was somehow marginalized despite women’s wide contributions in the past.

Furthermore, raising the awareness of residents, and the issue of providing them with correct information about how to buy gold, and the means of investing will be also included in the conference discussions.

Therefore, this conference creates several opportunities for different acts in the industry including the trader, and the manufacturer by leaving all hinders, and achieving the financial inclusion and digital transformation in all Egypt’s sectors.
