Egypt's Ambassador to Bahrain Praise Cairo-Manama Relations

Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Yasser Mohammed Ahmed Shaban, said that the relations between Cairo and Manama are historical. He added that these relations are always renewed by the brothers' meeting in a friendly atmosphere to discuss and consult on various regional and international issues.

In a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Shaaban referred to the depth of the brotherly relations that unite the two countries and peoples. He said that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's official visit to Bahrain today and his meeting with Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa come within the framework of mutual and continuous visits between the two leaderships.

He noted that the visit aims to continue coordination and consultation and advancing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

Shaaban praised Egyptian-Bahraini relations at all levels. He affirmed the interest of the leadership of the two countries to focus on developing cooperation in the economic, investment and inter-trade sectors. This was reflected in the noticeable increase in the general trade balance and the increase in the volume of investments between the two countries.

Shaaban thanked King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, for providing all means of support, attention and care to the Egyptian community in Bahrain.
