Egypt's ambassador to Morocco Ashraf Ibrahim, revealed Tuesday night the status of Raja football team and whether they are traveling to Cairo in the coming days or not if they undergo a medical examination within the coming two days.

Ibrahim said in televised statements on "On Time Sports" Channel: "The travel license of the Raja Delegation has been withdrawn, and they will not travel to Cairo."

Asked about whether Raja will fly to Cairo to play the match if the players had a swab after two days and the result was negative, He answered: "I do not think so; they are required to go into isolation for 7 days, that is, after the pre-scheduled match date, so they are not likely to play the match."

Raja had announced the past days 8 coronavirus confirmed cases among the squad.

Zamalek SC is scheduled to host Moroccan Raja next Saturday night at Cairo Stadium at 21:00 CLT, as scheduled so far, in the second leg of CAF Champions League semi-final.

The White Knights have achieved an important victory over Raja in the first-leg match with a single goal through Achraf Bencharki, who is having one of the best seasons of his career.
