Egyptians Withdrew EGP 30 Billion from Banks during Eid Al-Adha

Amr Adib said that Egyptian citizens withdrew EGP 30 billion from banks during the Eid al-Adha holiday.

Adib added, during his show on MBC Masr: “I'm not saying that the citizens have a lot of money, but I'm just showing the Egyptians expenses within 10 days.”

He pointed out that most of the resorts and tourist areas in Egypt witnessed a historic turnout during the blessed feast.

Meantime, Hisham Okasha, Chairman of the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), revealed that citizens withdrew about EGP 19 billion from the bank’s ATMs, starting from Sunday, July 11, until Saturday, July 24.
