The Artistic Creativity Center is holding intensive workshops to reproduce the Swiss theater show, VIVA LA VIE, through its transformation into an Egyptian show in Arabic.

Khaled Galal

Dr. Khaled Galal, head of the cultural production sector and director of the center, announced that the members of the second batch of the theater workshop for the Creativity Center at the Opera House will work together with the original Swiss show team.

The trainings of dance and kinetic exercises are being led by the Swiss director Andre Pignat and the show coach Geraldine. The transformed script in Arabic is being conducted by talented scenarist Toma.

It is noteworthy that the Swiss show achieved a great success when it was presented at the 26th Egyptian Contemporary and Experimental Theater Festival last September.

It was the only full-featured show in the two days of its performance at the Gomhoria Theater, in the presence of a large number of theater figures and artists who praised it as the best experimental show in the festival among a number of shows participating from different countries across the world.

Accordingly, this explains the reason why "Galal" chose this show to be hosted in Egypt once again and to maintain it.

Galal stated that the show resulting from the workshop will be presented in its Egyptian and Swiss versions in Cairo, and then they will be combined with the show in Switzerland.

VIVA LA VIE is distinguished by its various artistic elements in a single template, such as dance, acting and singing, and expressive silent performance, with excessive symbolism in the form of exquisite formative movement panels, where the exhibitor or actor performs all these roles together.
