Dr. Hani El-Shimi, Cultural Counselor in Tokyo and Head of the Educational Mission in Japan, presented a report to Minister of Education. Dr. Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar on receiving the second delegation of the Egyptian nursing trainees in Japan.

The Egyptian Cultural Office in Tokyo received the second batch of the Egyptian nursing sector trainees. This sector is part of the Presidential Program for the Egyptian-Japanese Education Initiative in the Health and Education Sector. This initiative was held by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during his first visit to Japan in 2016.

The report shows that this program aims at training of nursing staff in management and leadership, and let the trainees know about management systems in Japanese hospitals in Tokyo, Osaka, Niigata, Nagano and Saku, thus providing them with a comprehensive view of the nursing system in Japan in order to transfer these experiences to the nursing sector in Egypt.

Noteworthy, since the beginning of this year (2019,) the Cultural Office has received a number of delegations of teachers and headmasters of Egyptian-Japanese schools.
