Egyptian tennis player Mayar Sherif, bid farewell to Roland-Garros championship after delivering an exciting match with stunning performance against the world's No. 4 ranked Czech Karolina Pilskova.
Mayar lost in the first stage of the Grand Slam comptetion Rolan Garros to Pilskova in a match that was held at the "Philippe Chatrier" historic stadium.
She won the first set (7-6) but then lost the next two sets (6-2) (6-4).
Sherif, 24, is the first Egyptian female player to qualify to Roland Garros' main draw making history to herself and to her homeland Egypt.
Karolina Pilskova will face Latvian player Jelena Ostapenko in the second round of Roland Garros.
