Walid Al-Attar, Executive Director of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA), said on Tuesday that the Egyptian League for the 2020-21 season would kick off in the last days of November.
In statements, Al-Attar said that the start of the League's new season would be in the end of November.
"I congratulated Al-Ahly, and Zamalek on their great performance in their CAF Champions League semi-finals encounter. I hope that Pyramids could secure the victory against Horoya AC in the Confederation Cup semi-finals," EFA's Executive Director added.
"The resumption of the sporting activities in Egypt had a great effect of the clubs, participating in the CAF's interclub competitions," Al-Attar noted.
It is worth mentioning that the EFA had announced on Monday that the current season of the League would end on October 31.
