Egyptian, Jordanian FMs visit Iraq for tripartite summit

The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Thursday that the Egyptian, and Jordanian ministers  will visit Iraq today, Friday, in preparation for the tripartite summit.

Iraqi Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf said in a statement, "The foreign ministers of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and Egypt, Ayman Safadi and Sameh Shoukry, will arrive in Iraq, and they will be received at Baghdad Airport by Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein."

He added that there are important files related to strengthening joint action according to the tripartite coordination mechanism among Baghdad, Amman and Cairo," noting that they will focus on preparing  for holding the summit at the presidential level in Baghdad."
