Egyptian Food Blogger Ameera Aboulseoud always presents delicious recipes elegantly and distinctively.
She is sharing this time the recipe for a light and delicious dish, the savory tart.
Remove the puff pastry from the fridge before usage by 10 minutes and roll it out in a tart pan (size 25 cm) and remove the extra parts.
Place it on butter paper or foil and put green beans (any legumes) on it to press the butter paper onto the puff pastry.
Enter the oven at 220 degrees for 10 minutes and then remove it from the oven and let it cool.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, put some oil and sauté the chopped onion until it turns yellow, and then put 450 grams of minced meat and mix up.
As the color of the meat changes with I add salt and pepper.
Remove the meat from the skillet and put it in a deep dish to get rid of any fat and let it cool.
Two tomatoes, cut into small pieces
Green bell pepper, cut into small pieces
Half a cup of shredded mozzarella cheese (or any kind of cheese)
Preparing egg mixture:
A quarter cup of milk
Half cup of cream
Salt and Pepper
Mix all ingredients and put them on the puff pastry in the skillet and added some mozzarella cheese on top.
Place it in the oven at 220 degrees for 15 minutes and then lower the oven temperature to 180 and leave it for 12 minutes.
Heat the grill from above for two minutes to serve up perfectly grilled meat.
