Egyptian Flags Decorate Paris Streets Ahead of Sisi-Macron Summit

Egyptian Flags were spotted along the roads surrounding the Elysee Palace, where Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron are set to hold talks.

It is scheduled that, Sisi and Macron will focus on all aspects and issues of bilateral relations between the two countries as well as joint political coordination towards regional and international issues.

 

 

 

It is worth mentioning that, The Egyptian President arrived in France on Sunday, at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

Rady said that the visit comes within the framework of the two sides ’keenness to develop the strategic relations between Cairo and Paris.

The Egyptian Community in France confirmed on Saturday that all its members welcome the official visit of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the French capital, Paris, in light of the two countries’ keenness to strengthen strategic relations and address bilateral and regional issues.

In a statement, the community expressed support for the president’s steps to preserve Egyptian national security and build the nation through national projects adopted by state institutions on all tracks.

It also highlighted the importance of the visit to discuss many files of common interest in the economic and cultural fields in a way that serves the interests of the two countries and achieves their common goals, especially maintaining the distinguished relations between Egypt and France.

During the visit, Sisi will meet with French statesmen and officials such as the Prime Minister, a number of ministers, and the Presidents of the National Assembly and the French Senate.
